If you can’t figure out how to help in a bullying situation, at least don’t make things worse by laughing or joining in. Withdraw your support from the situation by walking away. Make sure later to figure out a way to give support to the person who was bullied.
Don’t laugh with someone who’s bullying. Show them that you think what they’re doing is not funny.
Instead of continuing the cycle of bullying in sports, use your influence to change things. If a kid on your team gets picked on for not being good, rally the team to help them get better.
With great power comes great responsibility. If people look up to you, use your influence for good by standing up to prejudice and speaking out against ignorance.
